Adisseo's MICROVIT A 1000 offers optimal vitamin A stability in pelleted feeds

Press release

Thanks to continued improvements made by Adisseo to the unique coating technology of MICROVIT A 1000, this vitamin continues to offer optimal vitamin A stability in pelleted feeds.

These improvements were demonstrated in studies recently undertaken by the independent Tecaliman research laboratory, France. Trials have proven that MICROVIT A 1000 releases constant levels of vitamin A during the industrial manufacturing process of premix and feeds, which can potentially cause degradation in vitamin quality.

MICROVIT A 1000's stability has also proven to be constant in "redox reactions", which may occur due to a number of factors, including pH levels, minerals, light, temperature, contact surface area and mechanical constraints.

The studies showed that MICROVIT A 1000 presents significantly higher stability compared with other competing formulations of vitamin A, in particular, new formulations offered by Asian producers. Previous studies had also established the superior stability of MICROVIT A 1000 in pelleted and extruded feed compared with vitamin A produced by other European manufacturers.

This MICROVIT A 1000 innovation attests to the sustained efforts undertaken by Adisseo to improve the quality of its products and to best meet its customers' needs.

Adisseo is the first European company to achieve the FAMI-QS certification, and is committed to the delivery of traceable and safe products.
