Taiwan's BSPA to buy 57,000 tonnes US soybeans
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association in Kaohsiung bought 57,000 tonnes of US No. 2 soybeans from trading house Agrex in a tender concluded Wednesday, said a Taipei-based trader.
BSPA Kaohsiung bought one cargo of soybeans comprising 20,000 tonnes at US$268.96 a tonne and 37,000 tonnes at 158.07 US cents per bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade January contract, the trader said.
Both prices are after cost and freight. The cargo is to be shipped Nov 18-Dec 2 from the US Gulf, the trader added.
