Japan Ministry to Seek 121,000 MT Wheat in Tender Tuesday
Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will seek a total of 121,000 metric tons of milling wheat from the US, Canada and Australia in its weekly tender to be held Thursday, according to an official at the ministry.
The ministry will buy 80,000 tons of US wheat, 21,000 tons of Canadian wheat and 20,000 tons of Australian wheat, the official said.
The wheat cargoes are to be shipped between Jan. 1-31 from the three countries.
