Tight Supply and Strong Export Demand Drive Up Prices of China's locally Produced Vitamin B2

Prices of locally produced vitamin B2 in China rose by RMB5/kg from previous week on account of tight market supply and strong export demand from overseas countries.
According to China Customs Authority, China's exports of vitamin B2 and its derivatives in September 2004 registered a significant growth of 49.7% from August to reach 184.106 metric tons.
Prices of other vitamin B products in China remain mostly stable of late.
