Cherry Valley to supply frozen ducks to Tesco nationwide
UK's Lincolnshire-based Cherry Valley has secured the business of supplying Cherry Valley-branded A Grade whole frozen ducks to Tesco on a nationwide basis.
The product, available in a 1.9kg format, contains more meat and less fat and is perfectly timed to capitalise on the Christmas period, said the company.
Cherry Valley sales and marketing director, Eric Jagger, said this deal is part of a continued strategy to expand further into the retail sector following the company's listing with Marks & Spencer last year.
Cherry Valley is the UK's largest duck manufacturer, rearing about eight million of ducks per year.
