China threonine prices generally firm; improved import supplies since October

Threonine prices in China were generally firm in recent days. Offer prices by two major local producers were reportedly in the range of RMB35.0-36.0/kg, with deals concluded with their resellers and users between RMB34.0/kg and RMB35.0/kg. Both producers also concluded deals with many feed millers in the market in the range of RMB35.0-36.0/kg recently.

Meanwhile, prices of imported threonine were also generally firm lately, and their supplies have improved slightly since October. Recent offer prices hovered at RMB43.0/kg, while deals concluded with feed millers were generally in the range of RMB41.5-42.5/kg. However, feed miller purchase volumes were also limited lately.
