Arizona to host National Livestock Emergency Response Conference
The second annual National Livestock Emergency Response Conference is scheduled for December 5-7 in southern Arizona.
The conference will feature information on a selection of livestock disease emergency response topics and scenario-based ground training exercises focused on areas such as confined animal feeding operations and food safety.
The conference is designed for livestock producers, state and county public-health workers, state agency leaders, public-health officials, state beef council members, state representatives of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, state livestock emergency response organizations, emergency responders and private veterinarians.
