China's fishmeal imports tumble in September

China's fishmeal imports in September fell 33.88% to 140,611 tonnes, down 72,058 tonnes from August.

Peru (99,726 tonnes), the US (20,314 tonnes) and Chile (12,581 tonnes) were the main exporters of fishmeal to China during September.

China's fishmeal imports for the period of January-September 2011 totalled 970,995 tonnes.
