Methionine price stays at record-low level in China
Prices moved lower during the week ended October 28.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine edged down to the range of RMB31.30-31.80/kg.
China's methionine prices remained at record-low level. Buyers continued to tread cautiously as livestock feed demand was weak. Additionally, abundant supplies exerted pressure on the market while suppliers kept prices low to entice buyers.
Methionine prices will like stay soft with demand slow and supplies ample. Moreover, methionine dealers will be in a better position to keep prices attractive with import costs reduced of late.
