Market analysis

Quoted prices by the biggest producer were largely lower which also influenced other producers to lower their quotes.

Lower livestock replenishment weakened feed demand and thus lysine requirements. Many feed millers purchased lysine only when needed. Trade activities were weak.

Exports for locally-produced lysine have turned increasingly difficult.

Market forecast

Going forward, producers may lower prices further to induce buying from feed mills. Trade activities will remain weak.
