China vitamin E demand shows little improvement

Over the past few weeks, prices moved lower.

Price quotes of vitamin E reduced slightly but producers negotiated prices on a case-by-case basis to clinch deals. Nevertheless, trade remained slow as buyers limited purchases.

Price quotes of two major local producers remained in the range of RMB115-120/tonne.

Demand for vitamin E is unlikely to improve significantly in the coming period. Prices are expected to stay weak.
