Market analysis

 

As of Oct 28, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were at RMB12.30-12.60/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB12.20-12.50/kg.

 

Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were at RMB7.45-7.65/kg.

 

Prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB7.55-7.75/kg.

 

As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were between RMB12.90-13.20/kg.

 

 

Market forecast

 

Near-term lysine prices are expected to weaken further amid reduced exports, lower aquaculture rearing activities and the appreciation of the Chinese currency.
