Techmix appoints new technical services consultant

TechMix, LLC, a manufacturer of animal health products, has appointed Greg Hermesmeyer as beef technical services consultant with the company's sales and technical services team.

Based in Vega, Texas, US, Hermesmeyer will oversee accounts in Texas and New Mexico.

Possessing an extensive farming background, specifically in dairy and beef, Hermesmeyer was a nutritionist at Hi-Pro Feeds, Inc before joining Techmix. He previously served as a technical service manager with Kemin Americas, Inc.

A graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in animal production, Hermesmeyer has completed a Masters programme and received a Ph.D in ruminant nutrition at the University of Illinois, US.

In addition to Hermesmeyer's appointment, Kayla Anderson has been appointed dairy sales representative to TechMix's sales team and will be responsible for accounts in Wisconsin.

Anderson was previously with Semex where she was involved in direct sales. She also conducted sales transactions of udder care and in-house animal health products through a dealer network.

Having a vast animal agriculture background especially in dairy and beef, Anderson attended the University of Wisconsin where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in animal science with a focus on meat animal management. During her college days, she oversaw a beef herd at a lab farm, where she conducted year-round beef trials for the university.
