Brescia Group looking to invest in Chile's salmon sector
Brescia Group, one of the largest Peruvian holdings, is looking for new investments in Chile's salmon industry.
Mario Brescia Moreyra, head of the fishing unit of the Brescia Group, said they are an investor group and they are looking at all available opportunities.
Moreyra is also CEO of Tecnológica de Alimentos (TASA), through which Brescia participates in the fishmeal and fish oil business.
Moreyra said they are paying attention to what could happen regarding the new fisheries regulation.
The LGPA (General Law on Fisheries and Aquaculture or Ley General de Pesca y Acuicultura) is being debated in the Chilean Congress.
