Malaysian Eggs Back to Pre-Ban Prices in Singapore

Eggs from Malaysia are back to pre-ban price levels in Singapore since the ban was partially lifted.

However, local eggs are still more expensive than before the ban, ranging from 22 to 34 cents. The eggs used to cost 15 to 20 cents.

Singapore had imposed a poultry ban on Malaysia after bird flu was detected in Kelantan on August 17.
