China finds new markets for live cattle
China has managed to expand its live cattle and sheep export markets to three more markets after successful deliveries to Jordan in 2004 and Kuwait in 2005, according to a report by China's General Administration, Inspection and Quarantine (GAIQ).
The three markets are Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
China has made big progress in livestock exports in recent years.
Currently, China has obtained approval to ship live cattle and sheep to 11 countries, including Lebanon, Pakistan, North Korea, Thailand, Burma, and Nepal.
