China's Methionine Imports Up 1,901 MT in September, to 10,229 MT

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported 10,229 metric tons of methionine in September 2004, up by 1,901 metric tons from August.

China's accumulative methionine imports from January to September amounted to 63,970 metric tons, up by 12,686 metric tons compared with the same period in 2003.

Major methionine exporters to China are Japan, USA, Belgium and France.
