Russia's Minudobrenia's net profit doubles in Jan-Sep 2012

The net profit of Russia's Minudobrenia, part of Russia's major fertiliser maker UralChem Group, doubled on-year to RUB3.6 billion (US$115 million) in January-September 2012.
This is according to the company's statement released Tuesday (Oct.23), as reported by RIA Novosti.
In January–September, the sales revenue increased 33.9% on the year to RUB8.6 billion (US$274 million) excluding the value-added tax.
"The revenue growth is rooted in the favourable situation on the world market, as well as in an increase in the company's output," Natalya Starikova, the company's deputy director for economy and finances, said as cited in the statement.
Minudobrenia sold over 153,000 tonnes of ammonia in January-September, up 12.5% on-year. Sales of carbamide amounted to about 551,000 tonnes in the same period, up 29.6% on-year.
