Prices higher in September amid supply shortfall

 

Corn prices in China edged higher in September consequent of a temporary supply gap. Although increasing stocks of newly harvested corn from the Yellow/Huai River production regions have entered the market, most are high in water content. Prices are expected to remain stable in October.
