China threonine prices generally firm; higher prices for imports

Threonine prices in China were generally firm in recent days. Two major local producers have kept their prices firm, reportedly in the range of RMB35-36/kg.

With few stocks held by resellers and feed millers generally making smaller volume purchases recently, market transacted prices of locally produced threonine consequently hovered at RMB36/kg.

Meanwhile, offer prices of imported threonine were generally RMB42/kg or higher. Their transacted prices were in the range of RMB41-42/kg, generally stable compared with the earlier period.
