Danisco to host seminar on the future of enzyme technologies at Eurotier 2014

Danisco Animal Nutrition, a subsidiary of DuPont Industrial Biosciences, will celebrate more than 25 years of enzyme innovation at Eurotier 2014 with a VIP seminar co-hosted with All About Feed.
Eurotier, the world's leading trade fair for animal production, will be held November 11 to 14 in Hanover, Germany.
The seminar, entitled, "How can the developed and developing world benefit from future enzyme technologies?" will be on November 12, Wednesday, at 5 to 7 p.m. at the Europe Conference Room, Radisson Blu Hanover at the Eurotier. It will be moderated by Emmy Koeleman, editor of AllAboutFeed and will include the following topics:
* " What future food security means to the developing and developed world" -- by Nan-Dirk Mulder, associate director, Commodities, Feed and Animal Nutrition at Rabobank International -- will outline the different issues faced by the developing and developed world in terms of achieving food security and how that relates to the penetration of feed enzyme technologies.
* "The role that enzymes can play in terms of increasing the efficiency by which animals convert feed into protein" -- by Charlotte Poulsen, senior staff scientist at DuPont -- will address how science and feed enzymes in particular can help resolve food security issues in the developing and developed world.
* " Phytase -- a mature or immature technology?"-- by Dr. Peter Selle, adjunct associate professor, Poultry Research Foundation, University of Sydney -- will discuss the future of phytase in the context of the developing and developed world.
Johan Jansen-Storbacka, regional industry leader at Danisco Animal Nutrition, said the VIP seminar reflects the company's "continuing innovation and leadership in feed enzymes after more than 25 years of product and service 'firsts'. It also demonstrates our commitment to helping our customers ensure global food security."
Danisco will also be running technical workshops on the latest enzyme, probiotic and betaine developments at the show, including demonstrations of its Optimize Feed(tm) Service which helps customers to calculate the optimum dose of its bio-efficacious phytase products and its Betafin(r)natural betaine.
Danisco can be visited at Stand No. C-15, Hall 16, at the Eurotier 2014.
