Russian firm to build US$103.3 million meat packing plant in 2010
Russian multi-industry holding Agrocom Group plans to start building a RUB3 billion (US$103.3 million) meat packing plant in the Rostov Region in 2010, the press service of the region's governor said Thursday (Oct 22).
The plant will be the first stage of a meat processing complex. The second stage envisages the construction of a sausage plant.
The plant will be built by Bataiskoye company, which is part of Agrocom's meat processing group Tavr.
