France detects new Aujeszky disease outbreaks
The French veterinary authorities have reported six new outbreaks of Aujeszky's disease in the country.
The World Ogranisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 4 on Wednesday (Oct 20). According to the report, the outbreaks occurred at several farms in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.
A total of 15 animals were affected. All affected animals were slaughtered. The source of the outbreak has not been discovered.
