New feed efficiency supplement launched in UK

A new supplement aimed to improve feed efficiency has been introduced to the UK market by the Denis Brinicombe Group.

In trial work, CRINA has been proven to improve milk production and protein yield in dairy cows and increase daily liveweight gain and feed conversion in beef cattle, explains company director James Brinicombe. CRINA adjusts rumen fermentation, slowing the rate of starch and protein breakdown, so the quantity of these elements as by-pass reaching the lower gut is increased, he said.
