South Korea's January to September corn imports up 1 percent on-year

 

 

South Korea's imports of food-grade corn and feed corn rose 1 percent in the first nine months of 2007 from a year earlier, data from the Korea Trade Information Services showed on Friday (October 19).

 

Corn imports for feed production were up 2.1 percent to 5.1 million tonnes from a year earlier, the report said.

 

Imports of food-grade corn in the January-September period fell 2.6 percent to 1.4 million tonnes year on year, the data showed.
