Russia's January - September dairy prices up 17 percent

 

 

The prices of dairy products in Russia from January to September were up by 17 percent, while inflation in the consumer market averaged 7.5 percent, the federal statistics service Rosstat said in a survey obtained by Prime-Tass.

 

In September 2007 consumer prices grew by 0.8 percent, while those charged by manufacturers of industrial products were down by 0.6 percent.

 

The prices of dairy products in September were up by 10.5 percent, of vegetable oils and fat, by 7 percent, of spaghetti, by 5.4 percent, and of malt, by 4.1 percent.
