Northwest China's Largest Lysine Plant Starts Official Production

Northwest China's largest lysine production plant, Ningxia Yiping Bio-Technology Company, has officially started production recently, reported a local newspaper in Ningxia Autonomous Region on October 20. The newspaper said the 25,000-ton lysine production facility, with an investment of RMB170 million, was completed within the span of one year.
With the successful trial run of its production facility, Ningxia Yiping is now ranked the third-biggest lysine plant in China. The company produces lysine through deep liquid fermentation, using cornstarch as its main raw material.
Ningxia Yiping Bio-Technology Company is a subsidiary of the privately owned Ningxia Yiping Food Group in China.
