Xinjiang's largest liquid milk plant comes on stream

   
Xinjiang Huayuan Dairy Co Ltd recently opened its RMB100-million liquid milk production plant, the largest in the province with a daily capacity of 300 tonnes and a floor area of 15,000 square metres.

Huishan Group's RMB50-billion dairy chain underway in Liaoning

 
Huishan Group is building a RMB50-billion integrated dairy chain in Liaoning which incorporates dairy cattle rearing, pasture planting, feed manufacturing and liquid milk processing.

By 2013, the company will have completed 100 modern dairy farms in the province with a combined inventory of 400,000 dairy cattle and an annual capacity of two million tonnes of raw milk, as well as six modern dairy processing plants designed to produce 240,000 tonnes of high-end infant formula powder and 700,000 tonnes of liquid milk each year.

The project is currently about 85% completed and the company is steadily building its cattle stocks through imports of around 3,000 Holstein dairy cattle every month.

South Korea's Cheil Jedang sets up feed mill in Shandong

 
Cheil Jedang Corp, South Korea's largest food manufacturer under CJ Group, aims to build a 150,000-tonne feed factory in Liaocheng city of Shandong. The facility, which is set to complete by early next year, will be the company's ninth feed manufacturing plant in China.

Jiulian Group builds RMB2-billion integrated broiler base in Guangxi

      
Qingdao Jiulian Group has signed an agreement to set up a RMB2-billion integrated broiler base in Guangxi's Qinzhou city, which will incorporate feed production, breeder and commercial broiler rearing,  slaughtering and cold storage, food processing, as well as import and export trading and distribution. Construction will start next year and finish by end of 2016.

DSM opens fifth feed premix plant in Sichuan

   
DSM Nutritional Products recently completed its largest feed premix plant in China located in Sichuan's Chengdu, the company's fifth after its other operations in Shanghai, Shandong, Hunan and Jilin.

In partnership with Chengdu Modern Industrial Port, the plant, which was built in less than 10 months, has three complete production lines for all product types, macro premixes and vitamin concentrates marketed under the Rovimix brand.
