Russia imposes temporary ban on German, Dutch poultry
Russia's agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said Monday (October 19) it is putting temporary limitations o19)n the import of German and Dutch poultry containing prohibited and harmful substances, the RIA Novosti news agency reports.
The restrictions, which concern German turkey supplies found to contain antibiotics and doxycycline-containing poultry meat from two Dutch companies, will come into effect Friday, the report says.
