Taiwan BSPA Buys 60,000 MT US Soybeans From Cargill
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association bought 60,000 metric tons of US No. 2 yellow soybeans from trading house Cargill in a tender concluded Tuesday, said a Taipei-based trader who received the tender result.
Cargill sold the cargo at 184.69 US cents per bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade January soybean contract, cost and freight to Taiwan, the trader said.
The cargo is set to be shipped between Nov. 27-Dec. 11 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.
Cargill has the option to provide 5% more or less of the tendered quantity.
