Marine Protein Marprot receives GMP certification from SGS
Marine Protein Marprot, a joint-venture between Bluewave Marine Ingredients and Marine Protein SAC, has obtained GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification from Singapore Government Securities (SGS) following completion of a successful audit.
During the process SGS reviewed and evaluated the 1,700 square meter production facility. Its operations, facility design, and maintenance procedures were inspected to ensure its compliance with GMP standards.
As the production plant for PerfectDigest FPI (fish peptide isolate) and PerfectDigest FPC (fish peptide concentrate), Marine Protein Marprot operates under stringent sanitary standards to ensure quality production of peptides that meets demanding standards for freshness and purity.
"The GMP certification by SGS demonstrates our commitment to quality products and customer satisfaction," said Mark Rottmann, COO of Bluewave Marine Ingredients, which jointly owns the Marine Protein Marprot production plant. "This is another milestone for us and the GMP accreditation is well-aligned with our business development plans," he said.
