China's annual feed output close to 150 million tonnes

Annual feed production in China is nearly 150 million tonnes, and the country has secured the world's second largest feed producers for many years.

Currently, China has over 11,000 feed producers, said Bai Meiqing, president of China Feed Industry Association at a meeting on Sunday (Oct 17).

China produced 148 million tonnes of feed in 2009, of which output by 30 large producers accounted for over 40% of the total production.
