Russian poultry output up 16.3% on-year
Russia has produced in January-September this year, two million tonnes of poultry, 16.3% more than in the same period of last year, the federal statistics service reported Friday (Oct 15).
Without giving output figures, the statistics service said poultry output in September increased by 16.6% in comparison with September 2009 and increased by 12.5% in comparison with August this year.
On the other hand, Russia has produced 532,000 tonnes of pork in January-September, an increase of 26.6% compared with January-September 2009, the federal statistics service reported Friday (Oct 15).
Without giving output figures, the statistics service said pork output in September increased 19.6% compared with September 2009 and by 6.1% compared with August this year.
