Vaccine manufacturer shuts down operation in US state of New Jersey
Lohmann Animal Help, a poultry vaccine manufacturer based in Winslow, Maine is closing its Vineland branch in the state of New Jersey to consolidate operations, cutting 37 jobs in the process.
Manufacturing would cease in February and distribution would shut down in September, said Diana Rafuse, vice president of finance. Rafuse said Lohmann's parent company in Germany would assume most of the product manufacturing currently being done in Vineland.
