Ukrainian MHP's Q3 poultry production volume rise by 17%
For the third quarter, poultry production volumes of MHP S.A., an agro-industrial company, has increased by17% to 122,350 tonnes, from 104,600 tonnes last year, owing to the increased production volumes at the Vinnytsia poultry farm.
In the three-month period, sales of poultry to third parties increased 29% reaching 120,080 tonnes compared with 93,200 tonnes during the corresponding quarter last year.
MHP sold 64,100 tonnes of sunflower oil, 23% higher than last year, mainly for export, due to the increased production of fodder meal at the Vinnytsia complex.
From last year, the average chicken meat price decreased by 8% to UAH16.12/kilogramme (US$2).
The sausage and cooked meat production volumes decreased by 7% to 9,360 tonnes from 10,100 tonnes a year earlier. The average sausage and cooked meat prices during the third quarter increased 8% to UAH24.16/kilogramme (US$3).
