Miratorg's Jan-Sep 2012 feed production up 87.8%

For the first nine months of 2012, Miratorg has produced 527,000 tonnes of feed, up 87.8% on the same period in 2011 (280,700 tonnes).

The SoyaNews agency reported that Miratorg's total feed production planned for 2012 is 731,500 tonnes. If they achieve their goal they will be able to provide 2.1 million pigs with feed.

Miratorg is also planning to open its third feed mill in the Belgorod region this year, with a production capacity of 360,000 tonnes per year. Thus, the estimated production capacity of the three feed mills in the Belgorod region starting 2013 will be 1.1 million tonnes per year.

Miratorg is currently Russia's largest animal feed manufacturer.
