Biomin wins award at animal health conference in India

Biomin won the Outstanding Participation award for its approach on deactivating Mycotoxins at the TROPNUTRICION Conference in India.
The four-day international conference on animal nutrition in tropic"TROPNUTRICON-2007", organised by the Animal Nutrition Society of India (ANSI) and the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), concluded on 7th October 2007 at Karnal, Haryana state of India.

The International conference was especially aimed at providing a common platform to animal nutritionists, feed manufacturers and farmers (the end users) to address various issues including constraints and opportunities, in the area of tropical animal Nutrition.
In different technical sessions as many as 500 delegates, representing India, US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Iran, Pakistan, Zambia and Myanmar, participated in the conference.
Dr. Devendra S Verma, Technical Director of BIOMIN India, was invited to deliver his presentation on "Combined Strategies guarantee mycotoxin control" as one of the main speeches at the event. The presentation of BIOMIN was well received by the delegates. |
BIOMIN's contribution provided newer insight to mycotoxin management in dairying practices followed in India. The judges of the presentation opined that BIOMIN's approach on mycotoxins holds a promising tool to control mycotoxins in dairy feeds that had a direct bearing on milk production and the reproduction of dairy animals.
As an appreciation for delivering the information at this stage of International repute, BIOMIN was awarded OUTSTANDING Participation award at TROPNUTRICON-2007.
