China's August lysine exports almost tripled
 

 

China's lysine exports nearly tripled in August to 15,779 tonnes from 5,580 in the prior-year month.

 

Trade data showed that the largest share of the August total was shipped to Russia. The country received 4,441 tonnes compared with 1,105 in August 2011 and also up from 2,848 in the previous month.

 

In the first eight months of 2012, lysine exports reached 99,823 tonnes, up 23.3% from 80,944 in January-August 2011.
