India's soy exports nearly triples

India's soymeal exports nearly tripled in September this year, from 104,377 tonnes last year to 281,855 tonnes this year, the Soybean Processors' Association of India (SOPA) said.

Registering a jump of 92.33 per cent, the total exports of soy meal for the period from April to September in the current year was 1.4 million tonnes compared to 745,594 tonnes during the same period last year.
