Vietnam's FMC's Jan-Sept 2012 revenues down 16.4%
In the first nine months of this year, Sao Ta Foods Joint Stock Company's (FMC) frozen shrimp export revenues reached US$51 million, falling 16.4% on-year.
The company sold 4,692 tonnes of frozen shrimp during January-September, down 8.4% on-year, the Dau tu Chung khoan reported October 12, giving no profit figure.
In September, FMC sold 707 tonnes of frozen shrimp, fetching revenues of US$6.8 million.
This year, the shrimp exporter targets a pre-tax profit of VND30 billion (US$1.4 million) on revenues of VND2 trillion (US$96 million) and a dividend pay-out equivalent to VND1,800 (US$0.09) a share.
