China government sells 119,000 tonnes corn in major producing areas

China sold 119,000 tonnes of corn in major producing areas during its weekly sales Tuesday (October 13), 3.7 percent of the 3.2 million tonnes it offered to sell.

It sold 9,200 tonnes of corn in big consumption areas, 3.2 percent of the 290,900 tonnes planned.
