ADDCON has joined the International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organisation, in order to be able to focus even more on the needs of the fishmeal and fish oil industry.

Experts from ADDCON were invited to speak at International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organisation's (IFFO) annual conference, which took place in Vienna from October 5-8, 2009.

Dr. Christian Lückstädt also presented ADDCON's expertise on "Utilisation of organic acids for the preservation of fish prior to processing into fishmeal".

The Germany-based ADDCON group specialises in organic acids and salts such as potassium formate. The products are used in various industries such as the feed and food industry but also for technical applications. ADDCON also produces a range of products in one of its site in Porsgrunn, Norway, for the aquaculture and fisheries industry.
