HatchTech Incubation Technology will be presenting and demonstrating their new innovations at Eurotier 2008 in Hannover, Germany, on November 11 to 14.

The first innovation is the HatchTech CyClean, for clean air in and around the hatchery, while the second is the Hatchech U-Vaporator, a new tool for humidifying in a hatchery.

The HatchTech CyClean is developed to capture the fluff from the air that leaves the hatcher. Capturing the fluff prevents cross-contamination in and around the hatchery. About 50 percent of fluff escapes into the environment from fluff rooms, but the HatchTech CyClean catches 95 percent of the fluff in the air, which could render the fluff rooms redundant and reduce about 20 percent of space in hatcher rooms, according to the company.

The Hatchtech U-Vaporator produces extremely small particles of water that are 30-40 times smaller than a traditional spray humidifier. Together with the laminar airflow inside the machines, the HatchTech U-Vaporator generates a uniform humidification, which would improve the uniformity and quality of chicks, said HatchTech.
