Pork prices down 6.6 percent in China's Jiangsu
Reflecting national trends, September pork prices in China's Jiangsu Province is down by 6.6 percent compared to that from the previous month.
The pork price was RMB22.6/kg in Jiangsu Province in September, according to information released by the Jiangsu Agriculture and Forestry Department last week.
The live pig purchase price was RMB645.7/50kg, down by 3.7 percent on-month.
Piglet price was RMB16.5/kg in the Province, down by 4.4 percent on-month, while the egg price reached RMB7.9/kg, up by 3.6 percent on-month.
The price of processed grain products and corn flour edged downwards in September while prices of most vegetables rose.
