Thor Giæver designated Yara acting CFO
Mr. Thor Giæver, Acting CFO, Yara International
Crop and animal nutrition giant Yara International has appointed Thor Giæver as acting Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
Giæver has served as head of Investor Relations and company secretary since May 2011.
He was head of Controlling and Risk Management from 2009 to 2011, having joined Yara in 2004.
He holds a BSc (Hons) degree from the School of Management, University of Bath, UK.
Anders Lerstad takes over in an acting capacity as head of Investor Relations and Company Secretary, the jobs Giæver recently vacated.
Lerstad has broad experience from several positions in Yara, including CFO North and East Europe, Commercial Director Yara Mining and Investor Relations Officer.
