Kyrgyzstan records rise in Jan-Sep meat output
Kyrgyzstan has produced 245,500 tonnes of meat in over nine months in 2010, 4,700 tonnes more than for the same period in 2009, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture informs.
The increase in meat production is due to the growth of farm livestock. The number of cattle has increased by 50,300, sheep by 312,800 and poultry by 17,800, the ministry said.
The indexes of almost all regions are higher than last year's levels, it added.
