Lonza to raise its niacin and niacinamide prices

Chemical and biotechnology company Lonza has announced it would raise its niacin and niacinamide feed grade prices by 10 to 12 percent worldwide, with effect from January 1, 2006. This was due to continued increases in prices of raw materials, energy and transportation costs.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Lonza reported its sales in 2004 at CHF2.18 billion.
