AB Vista has announced a new distribution partnership with Avipharm, a leading poultry and pig specialist company in South Africa.

Avipharm has offices in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Eastern Cape, all in South Africa.

The new alliance forms part of AB Vista's aim to become the number one supplier of feed enzymes to the South African feed industry, which produces 11 million tonnes of compound feed each year.

Michael Noonan, AB Vista's Business Manager for EMEA region, says "Avipharm is a well-established distribution company and we're proud to be working with a partner that shares our commitment to excellent customer service and reliable supply.

"Thanks to this partnership, AB Vista customers will benefit from Avipharm's excellent distribution network across South Africa," Mr. Noonan said, adding that the distribution arrangement "follows the success of AB Vista's new phytase enzyme (and) Quantum Blue" in the South African feed market.

"AB Vista's approach - including Quantum Blue superdosing - fits in well with the generally high level of technical knowledge, understanding and acceptance of new concepts within the South African industry," he said.
