South Korea's Kocopia buys 110,000 tonnes of corn
The Korea Corn Processing Association, or Kocopia, has bought 110,000 tonnes of optional-origin corn from trading house Glencore in a tender concluded Thursday, a trader in Seoul said.
If the corn is of China origin, it will be supplied at US$175.48/tonne, while US origin corn will be supplied at US$181.48/tonne.
The first shipment of 55,000 tonnes, irrespective of origin, is to arrive in Inchon Feb 10, 2007, while the second shipment of 55,000 tonnes is to arrive in Kunsan or Ulsan port Mar 5, 2007.
