128,225 tonnes wheat granted at EU intervention resale tender
A total 128,225 tonnes of wheat, 83,674 tonnes of corn and 23,893 tonnes of rye was granted at Thursday's European Union intervention resale tender, EU figures show.
All of the wheat was from Poland and granted at EUR150/tonne, and all of the rye was from Germany and awarded at EUR140/tonne.
The corn was divided between Hungary, with 44,230 tonnes granted at EUR105.20/tonne and 39,444 tonnes for Slovakia at EUR105.15/tonne.
Intervention grain granted is for use on the internal market only and cannot be granted below domestic or intervention prices.
The European Union Thursday also granted licenses to export 3,200 tonnes of wheat, according to EU figures.
The intervention wheat licenses were all from Hungary and granted at EUR134.92/tonne.
